  1. We love this movie – it’s an entertaining account of what happened except you never actually hear what the ten commandments are. But i love Val Kilmer as God’s voice, and the musical score and lyrics are really moving. We let children 6+ watch it. That scene with the babies and crocodiles is frightening for littler kids especially if they have younger siblings and babies in their family.
    Mind you, I don’t think you can go past the old Cecil B deMille’s 10 Commandments. We watch that for Lenten viewing as a family (without the littler ones) on Friday nights, along with Ben Hur and a few others.
    Any other movies people can suggest for Lent?
