Entries must be submitted by the 20th of December.
Catholic Homeschool Australia is holding a high school Essay & Short Story contest! The contest is open to any Catholic Highschool Homeschooled students (yes, that means world-wide!) , Grades 7 through 12.
The essays or short stories should be around 500-1000 words in length.
Topic
The topic is wide in scope: Christmas! That means any aspect of the great feast! Students can write about the theology of the feast, family traditions, one special Christmas experience, food and feasting (maybe the best ever Christmas dinner, or perhaps the worst!), even Saint Nicholas!
The style of the essay, or short story is also wide open; every mood is welcome, from darkly serious to hilarious! If the essay, or short story relates to Christmas, it qualifies for the contest.
Prizes!
The First, Second and Third place for each category will be published on Catholic Homeschool Australia!
Judges
Catholic Homeschool Australia staff will be the judges. All essays, and short stories should be submitted by December 16th, 2017.
