For this Year of Faith, Pope Benedict has encouraged you to study and reflect on the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Well, here’s an easy and free way to do it. Simply enter your email address and – starting October 11, 2012 – you’ll start getting a little bit of the Catechism emailed to you every morning. Read that little bit every day and you’ll read the whole catechism in a year. Cool, right?

Saint Pope John Paul II, Pope Benedict, and Pope Francis have asked each of us Laity to read a Catholic Bible and study the “Catechism of the Catholic Church”.
Where can we get a copy of the CCC ?
These two Books need to be referenced on Diocese and Parish web sites, and Catholic blogs – encouraging the literate to read them.
We should encourage all our family and friends to read them.
Here is a link with the quotes from our Popes, including links to the Vatican etc.

“….. let us ask ourselves if we have actually taken a few steps to get to know Christ and the truths of faith more, by reading and meditating on the Scriptures, studying the Catechism, steadily approaching the Sacraments.” – Pope Francis, May 15, 2013.
“….the CATECHISM has raised throughout the world, even among non-Christians, and confirms its purpose of being presented as a full, complete exposition of Catholic doctrine, enabling everyone to know what the Church professes, celebrates, lives, and prays in her daily life.” – Pope John Paul II (CCC pg xiv)
